Asking the Lord for His Angels to Clear Out Obstructions!
“The Lord, before whom I walk, will send His angel with you and prosper your way” (Gen. 24:40).
“[Angels are] ministering spirits sent forth to help those who will inherit salvation” (Heb. 1:14).
Lately, I have been reminded about the ministry of angels. We know they are sent to help us in various ways. Hebrews 1:14 tells us they are “ministering spirits sent forth to help those who will inherit salvation.” An angel told Cornelius how to connect with Peter in order to hear the gospel (Acts 10:3). And an angel told Philip to go to Gaza to meet the Ethiopian (8:26). Not only does God use angels to connect us, but they can also do some physical things including opening doors. In Acts 12:5–10, we see that Peter was chained between two guards. An angel woke him up, and as Peter arose, his chains fell off. Then the prison doors, and later the city gates, swung open. The guards weren’t aware of any of it.
This is the year of going through the gates or doors that the Lord has for us. However, we can expect some opposition, because the enemy always tries to stop us at the gates (Obad. 1:13). Perhaps this is why the Lord has been reminding me about angels, because they are the ones He sends to help us. In other words, we can ask the Lord to send angels to help us. On my last journey, several times I asked Him to send an angel to clear the traffic and I was amazed at how the roads opened up. It seemed almost instantly the roads would begin to clear.
This morning on MPP, I was led to speak about angels. Curiously, we had an unprecedented amount of technical difficulties, which indicates, perhaps, that it was an important message the devil doesn’t want us to hear or heed. I ended up praying for people and asking the Lord to send angels to help them.
I think you should do the same. Ask the Lord for angels to prosper you in your way. Ask them to do the following things: 1) clear obstructions (like they did for Peter in Acts 12); and 2) cause the process to speed up. In Eliezer’s case, it was almost instantly that he was connected with Rebekah (Gen. 24). Some of you may need to ask the Lord to send angels to bring in the necessary finances. But the point is to ask. I feel that as you do, you will be surprised at the suddenness of the answers you will receive.
Thanks for praying.

From Goat Nation to Sheep Nation
Breaking Legal Ties with the Queen of Heaven (Amaterasu Omikami)
I want to keep mentioning my book From Goat Nation to Sheep Nation (we still have plenty of copies in both English and Japanese). As I mentioned last week, many Japanese have been dedicated—often unknowingly—as infants to the “Queen of Heaven” or “sun goddess.” Unless this dedication is broken, Satan has a legal right to claim, or put pressure on, the Japanese believer, which to me is one of the main reasons why so many believers fall away. I believe this book, published in 2002, is once again timely. The book is available for 300 yen (plus an extra 100 yen for shipping and handling). To order copies in English or Japanese, please contact email@example.com.
